Václav Havel caricature
Václav Havel was a Czech writer, dissident and politician. He was the last president of Czechoslovakia and the first of the Czech Republic.
This was a personal test, an exercise to make a large caricature in color.
About 27 x 36 cm, which is very large for me, done with gouache paint and colored pencils on drawing paper.
A technique I learned from magazine caricatures at the time.
